Trochus Snails are another hobbyist favorite when it comes to snails that clean algae off glass aquariums. They can grow up to 3″ in size and have a beautiful spiral shell with purple lines. They tend to feed on algae, cyanobacteria, and diatoms amongst your live rock, substrate, and aquarium glass, as well as some film algae.
